45th LQP workshop (and first virtual one)
We are organising an online workshop on 17 – 19 June 2020 (via Zoom) in the Local Quantum Physics series of workshops, or more formally the workshops on Foundations and Constructive Aspects of Quantum Field Theory. We welcome contributions in the areas of quantum field theory, quantum statistical mechanics, quantum information, non-commutative geometry, quantum gravity and cosmology, and related topics of mathematical physics and mathematics. Junior participants in particular will be given the opportunity to present their research projects or results. This is the 45th instalment in the series, and the first virtual one. Originally the meeting was planned to be held in Paderborn, but it had to be postponed as a result of the pandemic. We hope that this online workshop will also provide an alternative for all the meetings and workshops that have been postponed or cancelled as part of the social distancing measures. It will also allow members of the LQP community all over the world to participate, in particular those that would normally not be able to travel to the workshop, making this local quantum physics workshop a truly global one.
Talk submission has now closed. The schedule can be found below. If you are interested in attending the workshop, please fill in the registration form linked below. You will then receive login details for the workshop via e-mail. Please do not share the login details, but ask those who are interested in joining to register themselves. Registration will remain open throughout the workshop. Let any of the organisers (see below) know if you have any comments or questions.
This workshop is part of the AQFTUK network funded by an LMS Research Groups grant.
